Gainey Ranch Tertiary Treatment

This 1.7-millon gallon plant was the first major advanced water treatment facility of significant capacity constructed by the City of Scottsdale. The City contracted Butier Engineering, Inc. to manage its construction and monitor the contractor and design engineer's inspection staff for conformance with the contract documents.

The predominance of corporate office parks, high-end residential developments and contemporary retail centers presented some unique and sensitive community issues during construction of the project, and required Butier to coordinate extensively with the Home Owner's Association and golf course operations. The project was delivered within budget parameters and met the City's aggressive delivery schedule.
