The Mini-Anaheim Inflow Improvement Project was one of more than 20 projects for which Butier Engineering, Inc. provided construction management and inspection services for the Orange County Water District under a two-year contract.
This project involved construction of approximately 110 LF of 30-inch cement mortar lined and coated (CML&C) welded steel pipeline and approximately 70 LF of 36-inch CML&C welded steel pipeline, including associated valves, flowmeters, sluice gates, and inlet/outlet structures. Also involved was the construction of a 65-square foot prefabricated metal building and associated electrical gear, and retrofit of three existing handwheel-operated 48-inch by 48-inch sluice gates with electric motor actuators.
