Perris Valley Pipeline
Butier Engineering, Inc. has been contracted to provide construction management and inspection services for this $80 million pipeline project, which will provide water reliability and quality benefits to western Riverside County. It is a joint effort between Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (lead agency), Western Municipal Water District, and Eastern Municipal Water District.
San Diego Pipeline No. 6—Northern Reach
Butier Engineering, Inc. provided construction management and inspection services for approximately 7 miles of major pipeline construction in Temecula. The project consisted of constructing approximately 160 LF of 144-inch diameter fabricated steel pipeline and 35,283 LF of 120-inch diameter fabricated steel pipeline.
Bradley Park Relocation of Pipelines 3 & 4
Butier Engineering, Inc. provided construction management, contract administration, and inspection services for the following capital improvement projects for the San Diego County Water Authority: Bradley Park Relocation of Pipelines 3 & 4; Vallecitos 9 Flow Control Facility; and Tri-Agencies Pipeline Turnout Replacement.
Monte Vista Interconnect Project
North & South
Butier Engineering, Inc. served as construction manager for the north and south segments of the Monte Vista Interconnect Project, which involved the construction of approximately 4.5 miles of water transmission main through the cities of Chino, Chino Hills, and Montclair.
SC-04 South Connectors I and II Pipeline
Butier Engineering, Inc. provided construction management and inspection services for the construction of 24,800 LF of 24-inch and 1,800 LF of 12-inch diameter mortar-lined and coated steel pipe in San Juan Capistrano, California.
GWR System Unit 1 Pipeline
Butier Engineering, Inc. provided construction management and inspection services for the construction of 5.5 miles of 78-inch and 54-inch CML&C pipeline, which is a part of the Groundwater Replenishment System.
OCWD Expansion of Seawater Intrusion Barrier Pipeline
Butier Engineering, Inc. provided construction management and inspection services for the removal of approximately 1,700 LF of 24-inch diameter barrier and installation of a new 30-inch diameter pipeline.
Mini-Anaheim Inflow Improvement Project
Butier Engineering, Inc. provided construction management and inspection services for the construction of approximately 110 LF of 30-inch cement mortar lined and coated (CML&C) welded steel pipeline and approximately 70 LF of 36-inch CML&C welded steel pipeline.
Kraemer Basin 48-inch Pipeline Replacement and Miller Basin Secondary Fill Line Project
Butier Engineering, Inc. provided construction management and inspection services for the construction of the Kraemer Recharge and Miller Basin projects. Kraemer included the construction of 966 LF of 48-inch pipe and removal of portions of the existing 48-inch pipe. Miller included the construction of 200 LF of 42-inch pipe.
Construction of Pipeline 2A
Valley Center Pipeline
Butier Engineering, Inc. provided construction management, contract administration, and inspection services for this $15 million project to construct approximately 21,000 LF of 66-inch cement mortar lined and coated (CML&C) water distribution pipeline.
Century Reclamation Project
Butier Engineering, Inc. served as construction manager for the construction of a reclaimed water transmission pipeline system located along the San Gabriel River in the cities of Bellflower, Downey, and Santa Fe Springs.
