Construction of Terminal C, John Wayne Airport Expansion
Butier Engineering, Inc. has joined Arcadis' team to provide quality assurance/quality control services for the Terminal Building Expansion project at John Wayne Airport. Construction of Terminal C includes the following:
Reconstruct Landing Surfaces of Runway 1L-19R John Wayne Airport
The Runway 1L-19R project involved milling out 3.5 inches of existing Asphalt Concrete surface layer within the runway center "keel" section area and other high traffic areas of the runway and overlay with new high durability polymer-modified asphalt concrete.
John Wayne Airport Parking Lot C
Butier Engineering, Inc. provided construction management and inspection services for the construction of Parking Lot C at John Wayne Airport. Parking Lot C provides temporary public surface parking during the deconstruction of the B1 Parking Structure.
Martin Aviation Hangar and Museum Upgrade and Expansion, John Wayne Airport
Butier Engineering, Inc. provided construction oversight and inspection services for the expansion and upgrade of Martin Aviation's existing facility at John Wayne Airport. The facility was refurbished to allow for the interior and exterior to tie into the new 32,000 square foot hangar expansion.
Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Facility # 33, John Wayne Airport
Butier Engineering, Inc. acted as the Inspector of Record for construction of the new 16,555 square foot Airport Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) Facility #33, located adjacent to Taxiway B.
Reconstruction of Taxiway Lima

Butier Engineering, Inc. acted as the Inspector of Record for the Taxiway Lima project, which included placement of concrete panels, soil stabilization, and installation of airfield lighting.
Construction of County "T" Hangar
