Butier Engineering, Inc. provided construction management and inspection services for the construction of Parking Lot C at John Wayne Airport. Lot C provides 1,100 temporary parking spaces, replacing those lost due to the deconstruction of the B1 Parking Structure.
The scope of work for the construction of Parking Lot C included the following:
- Grading, asphalt, and concrete paving
- Traffic signal installation
- Security gate installation
- Parking Access and Revenue Control (PARC) installation
- Security and electrical tie-ins
- Fencing
- Pavement striping
- Agency Coordination
Butier coordinated the construction work with the TSA, Orange County RDMD, OCFA, and other stakeholders. In addition, Butier served as the liaison between the Contractor and JWA and between JWA's tenants, JWA Operations, Facilities Maintenance, and Facilities Department.
